Wedding Questionnaire

Farrah Sanjari Photography // Ottawa Wedding, Engagement & Portrait Photographer

Please complete the wedding questionnaire below at least two weeks before your wedding day. While this list might appear extensive, it's designed to ensure I'm fully prepared to make your big day unfold seamlessly.

Upon completing the form, you'll be directed to a page to book your final consultation, where we'll cover all important details, address any questions, and ensure everything is set for your big day.

I can't wait to hear all about what you've been planning!

Tips & Tricks

If you haven't gotten a chance to read through my WEDDING GUIDE, here's a quick rundown of things to not forget about on your wedding day!

  1. If you're looking for natural wedding photos, always keep moving! I know this sounds silly but by constantly being in movement (like reaching for each other's hands), I get to capture different reactions and angles.
  2. Ensure the rooms where you're getting ready have plenty of natural light, especially from windows. It truly transforms your photos in the most beautiful way!
  3. Gather all your wedding accessories and attire (such as the dress, rings, jewelry, shoes, bouquet, garter, veil, suits, cufflinks, ties, etc.) before I arrive. This streamlines capturing those lovely detail shots.
  4. Keep the space near windows clear of clutter, such as trash, bags, and snacks. This spot will be where you and your partner dress, and we want to avoid any unwanted items in your portraits.
  5. Allocate more time for getting ready than you initially think is necessary. It's always better to have extra moments to breathe rather than feeling rushed.
  6. Embrace the day and enjoy every moment! You're on your way to saying "I do," and that's something truly special.

Getting Ready

On the morning of your wedding, please prepare the following items for me to style if we'll be together for getting ready photos:

  • Shoes
  • Flowers
  • All rings (engagement and wedding bands)
  • Jewelry (earrings, necklaces, etc.)
  • Complete invitation suite (including save the date, envelope, wedding invitation, meal card, RSVP card, etc.) — ideally, two sets with beautifully calligraphed envelopes bearing your (or a fictional) address
  • Perfume
  • A bridal hanger (avoid standard metal or plastic ones; a hanger with a swivel head is preferred for easier hanging)

Additionally, request extra loose floral elements from your florist. These should be on hand before I start, to ensure they're included in your photographs.

If you have time, consider writing a brief love note to each other to read during the morning preparations. Capturing the emotions these evoke often results in some of the most heartfelt photographs.
